Battle of the Smiles – Jon Stewart vs. Rush Limbaugh

Battle of the Smiles – Jon Stewart vs. Rush Limbaugh

Let’s see, first things first. The page layout. This is important… We don’t want to mess up here. Hmmm, Rush on the right and Jon on the left. That looks exactly right.
Wouldn’t you just love to hear a political debate between Rush and Jon? Both these men are so verbally talented. They see things so differently, it would be fun to hear a verbal slugfest. I don’t know if a battle of the minds is ever going to happen, but we can see a battle of the smiles!

Battle of the Smiles – Jon Stewart vs. Rush Limbaugh

Who has the nicer teeth for Superbowl 2012?
Jon Stewart

Just click twice on their smile to zoom in.

Who has nicer smile?
Rush Limbaugh

If you look through photos of Jon Stewart, the first thing you notice is that he doesn’t show very many teeth. His teeth are usually tucked in behind his lips, with everything hidden. We did find one picture where Jon has a big smile that we can zoom in on. All I see is tons of natural color across all his teeth.  You can see the gradient change from his gums to the tips of his teeth, and that gradient change is the same across all his teeth. The smile may be a little boring to look at, but overall, it is a beautiful, healthy natural smile.
Rush’s smile, on the other hand, is more interesting. From what I can see, every tooth has been crowned. Standard Porcelain fused to metal crowns. Overall nice color.  Tooth shape and placement set to ideal. If you look really close you’ll notice that the tooth on his right is missing in back. For some reason, Rush has chosen not to replace that tooth.
Now the following is all speculation.  One nice way to replace that missing tooth would be a bridge, but maybe he doesn’t have any more teeth in back to attach a bridge to. It surely can’t be because of lack of money.

Why mommas don’t want their babies smoking cigars.

One adverse effect of cigar smoking is periodontal disease. We all know that Rush enjoys an occasional cigar. The smoke is inhaled and allowed to sit in the oral cavity, in order to take full advantage of the smoke flavor. The cigar smoke then attaches to the tooth.  Have you ever tried to take cigarette smoke off the inside of a windshield? If you have, you know how hard it is to remove- even using Windex and good old fashioned elbow grease. If that cigar smoke is allowed to stay on the teeth, the gum tissue will slowly pull back from the smoke encrusted ivories. If given enough time, the teeth may become loose and wiggly. It’s as if the body is rejecting the tooth, to the point where the teeth can be easily removed – as easily as if they were baby teeth!  Even with the best dental care available, when a patient insists on smoking cigars, the back upper teeth may not be saved.  If could explain why the tooth is missing in the picture, that very well could be the last tooth on that side,
Does Rush have his upper back teeth? I have no idea, but I can’t help but wonder if his existing tooth problems are lifestyle related.

And the winner is… Jon Stewart! Those are healthy looking teeth.

It doesn’t matter if your teeth lean to the left or the right. Do you have a great smile and simply need a little help with cleanings, or do you need a bit more of a smile makeover?

if course you are going to declare jon stewart the winner. he is a democrat. all you guys are leftist socialists. you could never declare a conservative the winner even if the conservative had all his teeth and they were perfectly shaped. you guys are so biased.

    1. Hello Gale,
If I may, I would like to suggest that maybe it would be better if we do not look at everything through politically eye-lenses. For example, I pray that as a nation, we can look at the Covid-19 quarantine as a national problem, and seek answers that are for the best of the nation. Or as we look at the timetable for opening up our businesses. Would it be ok to put politics aside and seek time tables that are reasonable for all?
Or how about football and the NFL. It’s a national game. It’s something we can enjoy together, why do we need to make it politically? One player takes a knee and then somebody has to go and stir the pot and get everybody riled. I am tired of all this nonsense, as I’m sure you are too.
As you pointed out, maybe a smile comparison between Rush and Jon is a bit unfair. Jon is a much younger man. So yes, this is an unfair comparison.
Hindsight is 20/20. Maybe it would have been better to compare Rush Limbaugh with President Trump. They are in the same age group. I do like discussing health smiles for the sake of promoting oral health.
You may look at our presidents tan as being a bit orange or his hair as Hollywood fake, but Donald Trump has a GREAT smile. You cannot take that away from him. It is bloody beautiful, everything from the color to the shape and location of his teeth. Rush’s smile, on the other hand, is nowhere near as lovely as President Trumps’. So who does have a better smile? In my opinion, Trump wins.
So Gale, according to the internet, it appears that you have just retired after 41 years of service in the courts in Maricopa County Arizona. We congratulate you and wish you all the best.
